Joining David are Tracy who will be taking on the swim, while Laura completes the push/run stage.

Chris has overcome many great challenges and proved his skills to survive any situation so taking on the run will not be a problem, his team are in very safe hands!

Paralympic champion and two-time grand slam champion
The tennis Titan will be downing his racket and flexing a whole new set of super-muscles as he steps up to the plate as Gatwick’s Team Captain. We’ve no doubt he’ll be huge hit here too. Go like a flash, Gordon!

Five-time Paralympic champion
Irwin Mitchell is in for a wheely big treat. The sprint distance speed queen will be bestowing her unparalleled superpowers on the team as its resident captain. The race is on!

Georgina Hermitage
World record holder and Paralympic champion
The 400m world record holder and 100m Paralympic champion will be channelling her tremendous talents into this new challenge and in particular pipping good friend and fellow Team Captain Kadeena Cox to the post! It’s going to be a close call.
Joining Georgie's team will be Stevie from Oakgrove College doing the swim & Thomas from Moor house School & College on his bike.

Kare Adenegan
Wheelchair racing Paralympic medallist
At only 15 years of age, Kare burst onto the world stage at Rio to take a silver and two bronze medals. This bright young hope will no doubt be giving our more experienced sports stars a run for their money!
Joining her team are competition winners Joel in the swim & Dan on the bike.

Sammi Kinghorn
Wheelchair racing European champion
Another bright young talent in the wheelchair racing world, the speedy Scot holds the European records over the 100, 200, 400 and 800 metres, and is triple European champion.
Sammi is teaming up with competition winners Kyle, who will be taking on the swim & Colin who will be on the bike stage.
Adam Hills
Comedian and talk show host
The comedian, Last Leg frontman and Paralympics commentator is stepping from the safety of the sidelines and into the action all guns blazing.
Rather fittingly, he will be taking on the last leg and looking to his tenacious teammates Brooke to smash the swim and Ben to cycle like the wind on his super bike.
Ali Jawad
Powerlifting Paralympic silver medallist
There’s no questioning Ali’s fighting spirit. After narrowly missing out on a medal at London 2012, he came back four years later and earned himself a silver.
He'll be putting the same passion into his glory push/run home and will be giving his teammates, swimmer Lauren and cyclist Darren, the lift they need to succeed.
Jordan Jarrett-Bryan
TV reporter, DJ and journalist
The TV star is certainly no slacker when it comes to sport. He played wheelchair basketball at national level and was two-time European champion with the GB Junior team, which he captained in 2004.
He's bagged himself two great teammates, Liam D for the swim and Liam O for the bike, making #TeamJordan definitely one to watch!
Liz Johnson
Breaststroke Paralympic champion
One of only a handful of British Para Swimmers to win gold medals at the Paralympics, World Championships, and European Championships, Liz is trying her hand at a new challenge at Superhero Tri.
She'll be sharing her swim expertise with teammate Ian, who is taking the plunge, and then getting on her bike and handing over to 10-year-old Neve for the glory push/run home.
Stephen Miller
Club Throw Paralympic champion
This legendary athlete has competed in five Paralympic Games, five World Championships and four European Championships, winning a total of 26 international medals!
For Superhero Tri, he'll be turning his talents to the push/run and offering stellar support to his two Superhero teammates - David in the swim, and Bethany on the bike.
JJ Chalmers
TV Presenter and Invictus Games medallist
The former Royal Marines Commando and Rio Paralympics anchorman isn’t one to give up easily.
His teammates, swimmer Sophie and push/runner Nicole, will see up close the steeliness behind those Clark Kent glasses and help him on his mission to beat #TeamDave!
Sophie Christiansen
Eight-time Paralympic gold medallist
Our ambassador and a Celebrity Team Captain will be swapping her horse for a recumbent trike and taking on the Celebrity Superhero Tri and the Full Superhero Tri.
Luckily for Sophie, she has some seriously super support. Richard will be diving in for the swim and her number one fan, 7-year-old Elan, will be flying home for the final push/run.
Kadeena Cox
Sprint and paracycling Paralympic champion
The 25-year-old sprinted and cycled her way into the history books at Rio to become the first British Paralympian to win gold in two separate sports in over 30 years.
The new sporting superstar will be cheering on swimmer Sally before jumping on her bike and handing over to 6-year-old Superboy Arlo for the climactic finish!
Anne Dickins
Paracanoe Paralympic champion
The mother of two and the reigning Paralympic, World and European paracanoe champion will be taking on the bike stage on her tandem.
She's bagged herself some cracking support in the shape of swimmer Sarah, tandem partner, husband Simon, and push/runner Luke who'll be giving all they've got for #TeamAnne!
Dave Henson, MBE
Paralympian and Invictus Games team captain
The former Royal Engineer has experienced many sporting highs over the years and recently added a Paralympic medal to his long list of achievements.
He'll be sharing his serious Team Captain credentials with swimmer Barry and father-daughter bike duo David and Rebecca, who'll be on their tandem. Could theirs be the winning team?
Megan Giglia
Paracycling Paralympic champion
What an incredible 2016 paracyclist Megan Giglia had. She set a world record and struck gold at Rio!
Kicking off the race in the water, Megan will be looking to continue her successful run - and with Alex and race-runner Muninder on her team, she's in with a good chance!
Chris Jones
World Champs surfing medallist
The former soldier and die-hard adrenalin junkie will be throwing everything he’s got at this new challenge. A multi-talented surfer, mountain biker, skier and kyaker, his lucky teammates won’t find a more committed captain.
Chris will be joined by Sam on the bike stage and Poppy on the push/run.

Susie Rodgers
Paralympic swimming champion
This aqua supremo topped off her long list of achievements with a gold at Rio and can’t wait to make a mighty splash at Superhero Tri. Any true superhero aficionado will know that Steve Rogers is Captain America. Could Susie be his secret sister?!
