Swim: Sally Valentine, 39

Your story: “I’ve done marathons and half marathons and used to run 5ks, 10ks and 10 milers in local events most weekends. I loved just getting up in the morning and being able to go for stress-free runs come sun, rain, wind, snow, the lot. But after four or five years of struggling and knowing somethings was wrong, I was diagnosed with MS. I still have the urge to do something so it's the gym & the pool, but to have that feeling of taking part in an actual event again is fantastic.”
What it feels like to win a Celebrity Team place: “Really, really lucky and grateful.  I haven't been able to take part in an event for the past four years, which was one of the reason I entered Superhero Tri. To win a place with a Celebrity Team Captain has made it so much more exciting.”
Most looking forward to: “Everything! It’s not every day I get the chance to be a Superhero and have my own avatar!”
Your Kryptonite: “The heat (that's if we get any sun in August) but I'm sure the water will cool me down!”
Your Superpower: “My enthusiasm! I literally cannot wait!”

Push/run: Arlo Elwin, 6

Their story: Arlo is a very happy, loving 6-year-old with a serious passion for London buses. His disability means he struggles with balance and tiredness, and he has visual field loss, but he is not aware of this and is learning to try hard and give everything a go.
What Arlo’s most looking forward to about the day: Taking part with the celebrities & then teaming up with his family for another event later in the day!
What it feels like to win a Celebrity Team place: Exciting!
Your Kryptonite: “None!”
Your Superpower: “The power to create fun wherever he goes”
