This year the comedy king will also be presenting our Channel 4 highlights programme on 27 August, sharing his love for this super Series with the nation. Wherever he & his fellow teammates come in the mission, we're sure he'll put a super-watt smile on everyone’s faces.

Lucy’s SUPER story: Super-determined Lucy has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. She was told by doctors that she wouldn’t be able to sit up on her own, hear, speak, or control her own body. Last year, she had life-changing SDR surgery & is now on the road to being able to walk with her super frame & her independence is growing every day! Despite her pain & tough physio regime, she is the happiest child, with an infectious laugh & a huge smile. Lucy & her twin brother, Matthew, are taking part in Superhero Tri to raise money for ongoing physio & surgery costs. An all-round Superhero!

Sienna’s SUPER story: Sienna, who has cerebral palsy, is continually proving to others that she is a true Superhero! Despite her difficult start in life, she has achieved unimaginable things, especially through her strength training. She has super sporting skills & her hobbies include skiing, bouldering, cycling, athletics, gymnastics, & swimming! Her sporting prowess combined with her determination & tenacity makes for one super combination! Certainly a Superhero to watch!

Carmela’s SUPER story: Carmela, AKA Robogirl, is an unstoppable force. Superhero Series events are her passion, where she thrives & inspires. Onstage or off, she aids with warm-ups, beaming with joy. Always eager for fresh challenges, she shines on social media, raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK. Carmela proves that determination paves the path to success. Where there's a will, there's Carmela!

Billy’s SUPER story: A super-powered presence at our events, Billy is forever flying high. During the pandemic, he travelled a whopping 1,000 miles, raising funds for the NHS through At Home Superheroes! Over the years he’s campaigned in parliament for Fibromyalgia recognition & volunteered as a disability & inclusion ambassador in Active Essex, helping to forge the way for his fellow Superheroes. He can’t wait to jump in for the super swim!

Aavir’s SUPER story: Meet a truly super Superhero! Born with cerebral palsy, Aavir has shown incredible strength & determination with his numerous physical therapy sessions. He never complains & his super positivity & sense of humour are an inspiration to us all. Super creative & active, Aavir also finds the time for an impressive list of hobbies, ranging from reading & drawing to playing puzzles & football. Joining the celebrity race will be yet another string to his bow. This fiercely competitive Superhero is super ready for his next mission!

Invictus Games architect & champion
The former infantryman who was shot in the chest in Afghanistan in 2009, is one of the architects of the Invictus Games. He worked closely with Prince Harry to bring his sporting vision to life. David went on to compete in three Invictus Games winning a total of 14 medals in the pool & headed up the team in 2016. Some serious Team Captain credentials!

Steve’s SUPER story: Steve has experienced multiple challenges following a stroke in 2020, which left the left side of his body paralysed. Working super-hard in every way to recover, Steve has come through everything with a smile on his face & his positive attitude shines through. Steve’s super aim is to raise as much awareness about the Superhero Series & the importance of staying super-active as he can – while also having some super fun!

Miles’s SUPER story: Miles, AKA Smiley Miley, is raring to go! With a mission to live life above & beyond, he loves a challenge! Miles, who has Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, a rare drug-resistant epilepsy & complex medical needs, is super-excited to take his off-road terrain buggy on the course, with his super Sidekick parents by his side!

Amelia’s SUPER story: Amelia LOVES to challenge herself & smash her super goals! An osteosarcoma survivor & an amputee, she will be sporting her first sports blade leg at Superhero Tri powered by Marvel! When not dancing, or taking part in athletics, this Superhero loves to fundraise & inspire others to be confident & proud of who they are. We can’t wait to see Amelia in action on the day!

Ethan’s SUPER story: Ethan is one of our awesome Superhero ambassadors & along with his fabulous family of Sidekicks, has taken part in 10 super events! He says, “The events have given me pride, confidence & joy like nothing ever before!” Living with an ultra-rare progressive condition called MPS6, Ethan has deformities in his body & has had surgery every single year since his diagnosis at the age of two. He doesn’t let his disability stop him & believes that he can do anything he sets his mind to! Ka-boom!

Annabelle’s SUPER story: Annabelle is one speedy Superhero! She has cerebral palsy, which can make moving around her Kryptonite, but recently underwent double hip reconstruction to help her naughty hips stay in their sockets. Now she is supercharged for the mission ahead & raring to whizz around on her adapted bike & in her purple powerchair, which she has named Izzy Wizzy. She’s super-excited to be a part of Celebrity Superhero Tri & we’re super-excited to have her!

Debbie’s SUPER story: Despite a long list of physical & mental health challenges, Debbie is one super-determined Superhero! Last year, she completed the full Superhero Tri & has found taking part in super sports, such as swimming & riding her recumbent bike, has proven to be the perfect way to superpower her recovery. Go Debbie! Her achievements include riding over 3,000 miles on her e-trike, taking part in the Royal British Legion 40km Poppy Ride, Ride London 30, the Royal Marine Rehabilitation Triathlon &, of course, the Superhero Series events! KAPOW!

Harley’s SUPER story: With his remarkable Superhero Series track record & extraordinary endurance, Harley is poised to lead his team to an incredible start in the water. An amputee with autism & OCD, Harley has honed his skills in adapting to life's challenges & turning them into triumphs. His list of achievements is awe-inspiring, from climbing over the O2 to setting the Guinness World Record for the fastest 10km on a walking bike, a mere 15 months after losing his foot. Let's cheer for Harley as he continues to inspire us all! Go Harley!

With his winning determination & a fondness for speed, Daniel is an awesome asset to the team.

A dynamo on & off the court, Amy co-captained the under 25s GB basketball team to victory at the 2015 Worlds & has represented her country at two Paralympics, helping to propel the team all the way to the semi-finals at Rio 2016 – its best-ever performance! She’s super-pumped to unite with her winning teammates once again!
