Boom! This virtual race round the world shows just how powerful your combined superpowers can be! Prepare to unite in SUPER TEAMS to power round the globe, via some super-cool winter wildlife destinations, from polar bear-spotting in Norway to ice trekking in the Andes, to keep you super-motivated! For our full list of Super Winter of Wildlife checkpoints see below. As always, you can complete this ‘At Home’ mission wherever & however you wish. Teamwork is key & we need everyone pooling their unique superpowers to smash this icy mission!

Your mission: Everyone who enters will be placed in a Marvel-themed SUPER TEAM, led by a Super Team Captain! Your team will be made up of hundreds of fellow Superheroes & Sidekicks, all remotely working together towards your super goal! Once you’ve signed up, we’ll send you a link to add your super distances to those of your teammates & you’ll be able to follow your SUPER TEAM’s progress on our Super Leaderboard & Super World Map!
Who can join the mission: Everyone is welcome. All we ask is that all solo entrants, or at least one team member, considers themselves to have a disability of any kind.
Super Schools: we’re thrilled to be uniting with a growing number of Super Schools who are turning their pupils into Superheroes for our At Home events. If your school would like to join our super ranks email us now. 😊
Where: Anywhere! Your home, garden, local park, gym, pool, leisure centre, countryside, commute… The choice is yours.
When: You can rack up your kms on one day, over a few days or use the whole two weeks, from 8-23 of November! The choice is yours.
How: Anything goes, from walking, wheeling & running, to skating, skipping, swimming & using your super senses! Feel free to mix it up!
Dress code: A Superhero outfit of course! Check out some supersonic costumes ideas to help you look & feel the part.
Super Race Packs: All entrants will receive a Super Race Pack in the post – including a medal, T-shirt & finish line tape for those celebratory finish-line moments!

We’re not charging a penny more than it cost us to create these Super Race Packs, to welcome as many Superheroes to the fold as we can. We’re also super happy to post them worldwide so that budding Superheroes everywhere can take part!

Super start line: Dorney Lake, Windor (0km)
BOOM, & we’re off! Our epic virtual journey starts from the world-class venue & home to our live Winter Wonderwheels powered by Marvel!
1. Cairngorms National Park, Scotland
First leg down, Superheroes! You’ve earned yourself a quick pitstop & some hiking, skiing & snowshoeing in this fairytale park with its snow-draped mountains, icy lochs & ancient pine forests. POW!
2. Plitvice Lakes, Croatia
Next up some wintry magic, where waterfalls turn into icy sculptures & frozen turquoise lakes glisten under a snowy forest canopy. Kick back at the festive celebrations in local villages, then stay on target, Superheroes!
3. The Dolomites, Italy
Another super chance to practice your skiing & hiking skills, this time surrounded by The Dolomites’ jutting peaks & dramatic, snowy cliffs. Refuel on Italian festive treats at the Christmas markets in picturesque alpine towns, before powering on!
4. Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Iceland
WHAM! Fourth leg in the bag, Superheroes! Treat yourself to a super-scenic boat ride floating amongst the icebergs on a glacial lagoon under wintry, aurora-lit skies. You deserve it. 😊
5. Svalbard Archipelago, Norway
Welcome to this Norwegian winter wonderland! Take a snowmobile safari into the breathtaking wilderness of glaciers & freezing fjords. You may even spot a polar bear!
6. Yellowstone National Park, US
With wolves, bears & bison roaming this awesome park, expect some super winter wildlife spotting, Superheroes! With geysers steaming through the snow & cosy lodges too, it’s the perfect place to recharge, ready for your next super leg!
7. Banff National Park – Canada
POW! The world-renowned Rockies & a full array of winter sports awaits! Don’t miss your chance to don ice skates & head to Lake Louise for some super spins & turns!
8. Mount Rwenzori – Uganda/DR Congo
Leg eight smashed! POW! Prepare for some high-altitude trekking & a chance to venture through rare African snow, by scaling the “Mountains of the Moon” rising above equatorial forests. Super stunning!
9. Salar de Uyuni – Bolivia
From November, this super expanse of salt flats is covered in a thin layer of water, creating a mirror effect that perfectly reflects the sky, so you don’t know where land ends & horizon begins! A true winter wonderland!
10. Patagonian Icefields – Chile/Argentina
Nearly there, Superheroes, & what a pitstop we have for you! These majestic icefields stretch for hundreds of kilometres atop the imposing Andes mountain range. Try ice trekking at its most super before your final leg home!
