As a superfan of Winter Wonderwheels powered by Marvel, Henry is determined to prove to everyone that he won’t give up when out on his mission. He loves travelling at speed & he is very active. With every spare bit of time, he plays sports or does strength & conditioning to build strength for wheelchair basketball & frame running. Henry has cerebral palsy & faces challenges due to this, but this Superhero is determined to move & be independent

Nancy’s SUPER story: Nancy’s life changed suddenly this year when, out of the blue, she experienced a spinal stroke resulting in her becoming paralysed from the waist down. She’s had to make huge life adjustments because of her injury. In true Superhero spirit, Nancy said, “I won’t let this stop me”. Nancy loves sport & has found multiple clubs to join including wheelchair racing & para swimming. Now back at school, Nancy is juggling sports with theatre school along with the new daily challenges she faces. It may have only been 8 months since her injury, but Nancy is up for a new challenge & what better way to start than joining Celebrity Winter Wonderwheels!

Phoebe’s Super Sidekicks: Mum, dad & little sister, Freya.
Phoebe’s SUPER story: Phoebe has a rare neuromuscular condition called Friedreich’s Ataxia. This affects her balance, ability to walk & muscle strength. But this super resourceful Superhero has raised a whopping £6,983 for Freidrich’s Ataxia research by taking on a deadlift challenge in the hope to find a cure. She holds world records for weightlifting & continually shows everyone that anything is possible. Phoebe loves teamwork & shares workout videos online to teach other Superheroes that everyone can be active in their own way!

India’s SUPER story: The SUPER resilient India has overcome a cardiac arrest, 5 open heart surgeries & an acquired brain injury. She has worked super hard to learn to walk & run. Now she loves all things sport, especially swimming & dancing! India is sure to be a super addition to any team with her sporting skills. She is a great motivator for all Superheroes taking part with her super positive attitude & bravery. Oh & she can swim 1km in 45 minutes

Jessica’s SUPER story: This super-smiley Superhero doesn’t let anything get in the way of her positive attitude! A month ago, Jessica had her first seizure & even when being scanned her super smile never faded. Jessica, who has autism & learning disabilities, loves watching Disney films & comedy shows, playing games on her iPad & watching disability sport on TV & live when she can. She has a super sense of humour & is always telling jokes. Jessica loves making everyone laugh. She has missed the Superhero events due to covid, but this year is back in full force! She can’t wait to take on her Winter Wonderwheels mission.

Harley’s SUPER story: An integral member of the Superhero community, Harley is no stranger to the Superhero events & his huge collection of medals represent this. With 7 events completed, & counting, Harley Is a true leader & an asset to any team. Harley has autism, OCD & Tourette’s syndrome & his right foot amputated. He faces challenges every day, but he thrives on a challenge & his list of achievements is quite marvellous! He led Team Iron Man during the last At Home Superheroes. He completed his first ever complete triathlon. And he raised money for Huntington's Disease Association. Winter Wonderwheels is a super way to end Harley’s super year!
