Para - Athlete & Para Alpine Skier
This SUPER talented para-athlete who has been no stranger to adversity throughout his life. Talented in the disciplines of para-triathlon and para-alpine slalom, Josh is both a determined and hard-working sportsman.
Superpower: He is a man of many talents!
Alistair Patrick - Heselton
Paralympic Footballer
We can’t wait to welcome Alistair, ex Queens Park Rangers footballer who went on to become a GB Paralympic footballer at London 2012!
Alistair is now a mentor & speaker for the next generation of footballers, working with the PFA, Premier League and regional FAs! Inducted in the National Football Museum Hall of Fame by the FA in 2017 in the ‘Football For All’ category, Alistair will be the perfect motivator for his team!!

We are SUPER excited deaf GB triathlete Oliver aka “The Silent Speedster” is joining our 2024 line up…Roll on 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo where he is determined to win a gold medal!!!
Superpower: My SUPER powered cochlear implant – without it I am 100% deaf.

We can’t wait to welcome this SUPER fast Paralympian who, having won multiple medals as a competitor has now started his own racing squad helping people with disabilities get in to sport!!

We cannot wait to welcome former Paralympian Bethy to her first Superhero Tri! Now enjoying being a SUPER mum on her family farm, we are certain Bethy will be a force to be reckoned with!!

This incredible, six time Paralympic medallist is joining the fold once again & we can’t wait to see how he channels his supersonic powers to complete his mission! One of our most SUPER Superheroes!

You couldn’t ask for a more brilliant & bubbly celebrity team captain than this Paralympian & two time world paracanoe champion! The Supermum and her Super Sidekick husband, Simon, are regulars at our events on their tandem – always guaranteed to pedal super-hard & keep team spirits super high!
Fi Cranswick
Military Superhero
Fiona injured her hips and spine while serving in the Royal Air Force and less than a year after emergency spinal surgery she competed at the Invictus Games in Orlando winning one gold and three silvers in swimming. She earned the nickname Femo (after Nemo the fish) as only one of her flippers (legs) worked.
Superpower: “The ability to find the positive and smile in any situation – you could call me the eternal optimist.”

Look who’s back! It’s the SUPER baker, presenter, food columnist & all-round SUPERstar, Briony Williams! She’s got just the right ingredients to rise to the challenge!
Superpower: “Baking awesome cakes of course!”
Liz Johnson
Paralympic swimming champion
This star swimmer is one of only a select few to have won gold medals in the Paralympics, World Championships & European Championships & is super lovely to boot! As always, she’ll be diving head first into this Celebrity Challenge & getting her teammates off to a super start!
Superpower: “My right hook, which my friends affectionately refer to as the snake, ha!”
Jordan Jarrett-Bryan
TV reporter & presenter
One of our favourite faces on Channel 4, this roving reporter’s sporting past is also none too shabby! He played wheelchair basketball at national level & was two-time European champion with the GB Junior team, which he captained in 2004. Perfect credentials to lead his team.
Superpower: “The ability to teleport & be in multiple places in a blink.”
David Wiseman
Invictus Games medallist & former captain in the Army
The former infantryman who was shot in the chest in Afghanistan in 2009, is one of the architects of the Invictus Games and worked closely with Prince Harry to bring his sporting vision to life. David went on to compete in three Invictus Games winning a total of 14 medals in the pool and headed up the team in 2016 & has also climbed to the summit of the eighth highest mountain in the world: Manaslu, Nepal (8163m). Some serious Team Captain credentials!
Superpowers: “No one in the world is bullet proof, but I am technically bullet resistant. Therefore, my Superhero name is “Easy Target: Man of (cheap) Steel.’’
Eve Roberts
Para-athlete & EDI Manager
Making her debut at Superhero Tri is the SUPER Eve Roberts! As a former GB pathway player, previous member of the East London Phoenix Women’s wheelchair basketball team, and currently working in motorsport there is no stopping Eve in her pursuit for team success!
Eve’s superpower: “The ability to fly, so I can fly around the world visiting as many beaches as possible.”
