Meet our Winter Wonderwheels Celebrity Team Captains!

Anyone attending our live Winter Wonderwheels at Dorney Lake this December is in for a celeb-spotting treat! Meet our Celebrity Team Captains who will be jumping into the action for our Celebrity Winter Wonderwheels 5km.

The competition to join our Celebrity Team Captains is now closed & we will be revealing the lucky winning ‘Super Crews’ here very shortly, so keep an eye out for updates!

Livvy Breen 

Paralympic sprinter & long jumper

The youngest member of the GB Paralympic athletics team at London 2012, Livvy competed in the T38 100m & 200m, & won bronze in the 4x100m relay at just 16 years old! She became the T38 100m Commonwealth Champion in 2022 & has risen to the top in long jump too, having been crowned the World Champion in 2017, Commonwealth Champion in 2018 & Bronze medallist in Tokyo 2020. This bubbly talent is guaranteed to bring a smile to her teammates’ faces.

Stephen Clegg 

Paralympic swimmer & two-time Paralympic champion 

Stephen is making his SUPER debut this year! Following his success at Paris 2024, he is ready to lead his team to victory! He has proven his superpowers time & time again, & is definitely going for gold! Watch out Superheroes, Stephen is a force to be reckoned with. 

Ed Clifton

Paralympic para-canoeist 

Following his Paralympic debut in Paris, Ed is super-keen to take on a new challenge! An all-round sporting legend in athletics & para-canoe, his powers are flexed & ready for his first-ever Superhero mission! One to watch for sure! 

Sophie Christiansen

Paralympic equestrian & BBC Sports Personality of the Year finalist

Welcoming back to the fold, we have eight-time Paralympic gold medallist Sophie Christiansen! We are SUPER excited to see Sophie in action once more, & if it’s anything like what we’ve seen from her before, prepare to have your socks knocked off! She never misses a Superhero mission & cannot wait to meet her team!

Jack Eyers

Para-canoe silver medallist & male model

POW! Jack is back! He made history in 2015 as the first male model with a disability to walk the catwalk at New York Fashion Week & was also the first-ever amputee to be crowned Mr England. What’s more, he snatched silver at his Paralympic debut in Paris earlier this year! Super skills!

Alistair Patrick-Heselton

A SUPER welcome to Alistair,  former Queens Park Rangers uber-footballer, who went on play at the London 2012 Paralympics! Alistair is now a mentor & speaker for the next generation of footballers, working with the PFA, Premier League & regional FAs! Inducted in the National Football Museum Hall of Fame by the FA in 2017 in the ‘Football For All’ category, Alistair will be the perfect motivator for his team!!

Look who’s back! It’s the SUPER baker, presenter, food columnist & all-round SUPERstar, Briony Williams! She’s got just the right ingredients to rise to the challenge!

You couldn’t ask for a more brilliant & bubbly Celebrity Team Captain than this Paralympic & two-time world para-canoe champion! We’re super-chuffed this supermum & her super Sidekick husband, Simon, are regulars at our events on their tandem – always guaranteed to pedal super-hard & keep team spirits super-high!

Kylie Grimes 

Wheelchair rugby Paralympic champion 

A three-time Paralympian & the first-ever female Paralympic champion in wheelchair rugby, Kylie has certainly earned her super-sporting stripes! Joining us for the second time, she will be channelling her love for team sports into this mission! A SUPER addition to any team!
