Owen & Oreo!

Earth years: 19

Owen’s SUPER story:

This amazingly determined Superhero has taken part in every single Superhero event to date!

His life changed forever the day he was given a wheelchair by a SUPER charity. It opened up the wonderful world of sport participation & he’s never looked back. This has made Owen SUPER-determined to fundraise for other Superheroes so they can have the same opportunities he has been given.

Owen has three SUPER-rare syndromes that bring with them a multitude of daily challenges, but this Superhero is always smiling & never lets them stop him from having fun!

With the launch of the At Home events, Owen was able to stay active while keeping safe during the pandemic. For Superheroes on Vacation, Owen did 1904 laps of his living room, with the help of his SUPER Sidekick cat Oreo, & clocked up over 14kms for his team! What a super achievement!

Owen loved how the virtual events connected the Superhero community in a time when everyone needed it most. He can’t wait to unite virtually with his super team & share his infectious energy during his captaincy. The countdown is on!
